A little about us...Stephanie was born and raised in Medfield, MA. She attended American University in Washington, DC and remained there for a few years after college. Joseph was born and raised in Moorestown, NJ. He attended American University as well, but he scooted to New York City after getting his Masters! I'm sure you can start to see where our paths may have crossed :).

We always saw each other on the quad or loitering at the tables in MGC -- we shared an occasional hello and would partake in dancing on the same tables at the same clubs together (Heist, obviously), but fate made us wait a little bit longer for things to work out.

After college, with Stephanie in DC and Joseph in NYC, Joseph visited DC for the Fourth of July (-- which is why we're sentimental about this date). According to Joseph, the two talked for a while at a backyard party and after the conversation he remarked to a friend that he knew the two would be a good fit.

Another year came and went, but finally, in July 2019, with Stephanie still in DC and Joseph still in NYC, Joseph slid in Stephanie's Instagram messages -- saying he would outrun her next time he's in town. Never turning down a challenge, Stephanie said "game on".

One month later they went on their first date.

One day later, Stephanie texted her family group chat to let them know she was smitten with Joseph and her family should know they are going to get married (she may have sounded a little crazy at the time-- but that aged like fine wine!).

We got engaged in February 2023 and are very excited to be getting married on July 2, 2024! We cannot wait to celebrate with you!
